Power2Motivate and Cisco Systems recently won the award for Best Global/International Incentive Programme at the 2016 annual Motivation and Incentive Awards.
This annual awards ceremony is the incentive marketing industry’s leading event with all the major international players attending to celebrate industry successes from the past year.
Together, Cisco and Power2Motivate created a programme that successfully rewarded Cisco resellers for their brand loyalty and stewardship. When the project began, Cisco sought out Power2Motivate to create a platform that could effectively optimise the performance of its global partner network.
To accomplish this, we used a variety of tactics that captured both mind-share and wallet-share in a global market with hundreds of competitors selling through an ecosystem of tens of thousands of resellers.
We leveraged the Power2Motivate in-country sourcing platform and fast connect API in order to easily connect Cisco to the entire global Power2Motivate rewards gallery within a matter of days.
In addition to the quick turnaround time, costs were eliminated by managing reward data and orders on a local and global basis. The global Cisco Rewards programme was deployed in 17 languages with 50,000+ VAR's in 117 countries.
The data captured within Power2Motivate enabled Cisco to analyze overall programme ROI by region, country, product groups, as well as at the partner company, Account Manager, and Sales Engineer levels.
Perhaps the most notable feature of this programme is the reward categories which were carefully designed to create more meaningful and culturally applicable products and experiences. Some of these region-specific rewards included:
· Goats in Bangladesh
· Fresh Fish in South America
· Biodegradable Sky Lanterns in China
· Hand-Knit Alpaca Sweaters and Mitts in Bolivia
Combine these offers with the flexible point earning system and the end result was a programme that had a serious impact on engagement and recognition. Additionally, the Cisco Reward programme was documented as a significant driver behind meeting business objectives, as confirmed by survey responses from the Cisco Rewards Partners.
